Our paediatricians look after children from their first days through to adolescence. Check-ups cover how they are growing, eating and sleeping, and how their language and movement are developing. Sick visits deal with the usual worries: fever, coughs, colds, rashes or tummy ache.
We see children by appointment and, when it helps, we use rapid tests that give the result during the same visit, so you know straight away whether an antibiotic makes sense. We also keep the vaccination schedule up to date and talk through optional vaccines. You will find us on Plaça de Catalunya in Palafrugell, and we work with more than 40 health insurers.

Do I need to book an appointment with the paediatrician?
Yes, we always see children by appointment. If your child has fallen ill, ring 972 30 65 65 in the morning and we will try to give you a slot the same day, within the centre’s opening hours: Monday to Friday from 8 am to 8 pm and Saturday from 9 am to 2 pm.
Do you give the vaccines on the official schedule?
Yes, we give the official vaccination schedule, record it in the vaccination book and explain which optional vaccines may be worth considering in your case. Please bring the vaccination book and the child health record to every appointment.
If my child has a sore throat, can you do the rapid test the same day in Palafrugell?
Yes. The rapid strep test is done in the surgery in Palafrugell and gives a result within minutes, during the same appointment, so you know straight away whether an antibiotic makes sense. We also run flu tests, RSV tests and PCR tests on site.
