Indiba

Indiba is a radiofrequency device that passes a low-frequency current through the tissues and raises their temperature in a controlled way. That stimulus improves circulation and oxygenation in the area, helping the body repair the injured tissue. It is non-invasive and usually feels like pleasant warmth.

At Centre Mèdic Palafrugell it is applied by our physiotherapists at the Physiotherapy and Dental Clinic on Carrer de Sant Sebastià, 87. It is rarely used on its own: it normally forms part of a plan alongside manual therapy and exercise. At your first appointment we assess whether it suits your case and how many sessions may be needed.
